What should the first few weeks after bonding be like?
Short answerRight after bonding, your tongue and lips need time to adapt to the new shape, so speech or biting may feel unfamiliar.
- Some temporary sensitivity to cold can occur, but tell your clinic if it persists or worsens.
- Chew hard or sticky foods with your back teeth rather than the front, and use a straw or rinse with water after dark drinks.
- If one side seems to touch first when you bite, a bite adjustment may be needed.
General information only. Whether and how treatment suits you is decided after a dental exam.
