Does 0.1 mm produce the shade I want for everyone?
Short answerNo.
- 0.
- 1 mm is the minimum design thickness, not a thickness applied to every tooth.
- Thin ceramic lets the underlying tooth colour show through, so if your natural teeth are very dark or far from the target shade, a thicker design or another approach may be considered.
- Teeth darkened after root canal treatment or with heavy staining need a separate assessment.
- Confirm the final shade at the clinic using a shade guide and a try-in.
General information only. Whether and how treatment suits you is decided after a dental exam.
