Can VeneerFit be placed without removing tooth structure?

Sometimes, but no-prep is not suitable for everyone. When the goal is to add shape, for example small teeth or gaps, a no-prep or minimal-prep design may be considered. When teeth are positioned forward, or extra thickness is needed to mask a dark base colour, some reduction may be required. Tooth reduction cannot be undone, so review design material that shows whether and where reduction is planned, and ask questions before you decide.

Does 0.1 mm produce the shade I want for everyone?

No. 0.1 mm is the minimum design thickness, not a thickness applied to every tooth. Thin ceramic lets the underlying tooth colour show through, so if your natural teeth are very dark or far from the target shade, a thicker design or another approach may be considered. Teeth darkened after root canal treatment or with heavy staining need a separate assessment. Confirm the final shade at the clinic using a shade guide and a try-in.

After approval, the veneers are milled, stained and glazed, and inspected before dispatch. A virtual try-on is only a reference for discussing direction and does not promise an actual result.

What should I check at the try-in?

Trying the veneers on before bonding is your key opportunity to review the result. Look in a mirror and at photos from the front and side, while smiling and while talking. Check tooth length and edge line, left-right balance, whether the colour suits neighbouring teeth and your skin, and whether speech feels comfortable. Mention anything that bothers you before bonding, when adjustment is easiest. After bonding, the room for changes becomes much smaller.

What is checked before dispatch?

Following OLCHI standards, BellyButton checks about twenty items on every veneer, including marginal fit, shape reproduction and surface condition. Photos and scans, design approval, inspection and dispatch records are linked to one case number so they can be traced. These are manufacturing quality standards and do not guarantee an individual treatment outcome. Final bonding and bite adjustment take place at the clinic.

Will my simulator result match the real outcome?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. The simulator creates an AI reference image from a single photo and cannot account for gum condition, bite, root position or lip movement. Lighting and camera angle can also change how colour and size appear. Use it to explain the direction you like, such as brightness, length and mood, and confirm what is realistically possible after an examination.

Are simulation photos made public, and can I delete them?

Simulation results are posted to the community gallery only when you choose to consent to publishing. Without consent they are not shown publicly, and you can delete your own posts from My page or the community. Check face-revealing photos carefully before sharing, or crop to the mouth area if you prefer. Moderators can hide or remove inappropriate posts.

What should the first few weeks after bonding be like?

Right after bonding, your tongue and lips need time to adapt to the new shape, so speech or biting may feel unfamiliar. Some temporary sensitivity to cold can occur, but tell your clinic if it persists or worsens. Chew hard or sticky foods with your back teeth rather than the front, and use a straw or rinse with water after dark drinks. If one side seems to touch first when you bite, a bite adjustment may be needed.
