How closely will the preview match the final result?
The simulation provides a helpful preview, but it is not intended to be an exact replica of the final outcome. This is because a 2D photo cannot fully capture crucial three-dimensional factors like your bite, gum health, or the internal condition and precise underlying shade of your teeth. Consequently, a shape or color that appears suitable in the preview might not be clinically achievable for your oral environment. Use the simulation as a visual aid to communicate your aesthetic goals to your dentist. The final design will be determined after a thorough clinical examination and professional consultation.
What photo works best?
A clear, straight-on photo of your natural smile works best for the simulation. For the most accurate preview, take the picture in a brightly and evenly lit area, ensuring your upper teeth and the outline of your lips are fully visible. Please avoid using camera filters, photos with strong glare, or having your smile partially blocked by your hands or hair. These factors can interfere with detection, so if it struggles, we recommend trying again with a new photo. A high-quality image provides a more useful preview to discuss with your dental professional.
What happens to my uploaded photos?
Your uploaded photos are kept private by default and are only shared publicly if you explicitly choose to do so. If you are signed in, you can save your photos and simulation results to your account for personal viewing later. To share your results with the community, you must make a separate selection and provide consent, at which point the image becomes visible to other site visitors. Before making a simulation public, please review the image to ensure it does not include other people or personal information. Your control and consent are central to how your images are managed.
