How should I care for veneers and how often should I have check-ups?
Short answerBrush twice a day with a soft brush, including along the gum line, and clean between the veneers and gums with floss or interdental brushes.
- Highly abrasive toothpaste can dull the glaze, so an ordinary fluoride toothpaste is recommended.
- Avoid habits that load the front teeth, such as opening bottles, nail biting or chewing ice.
- If you grind or clench, ask about a night guard, and have the margins and gums reviewed at regular check-ups.
General information only. Whether and how treatment suits you is decided after a dental exam.
