How to choose the smile style that fits you
The same treatment reads very differently depending on tone and shape. These four directions give you a vocabulary for the consultation.
Natural — like your own teeth
Minimises tone difference from surrounding natural teeth. Best if you'd rather nobody notices.
Soft — gentle and warm
Rounder edges and a subtler tone, for a softer overall impression.
Signature — balance and proportion
Focuses on aligning the facial midline and tooth-width ratios for a composed look.
Bright — clear and luminous
Brighter shades and defined incisal edges that read well on camera.
Shade is chosen separately from style
Style is about shape and mood; shade is about brightness — from A1, close to natural teeth, up to BL1, the brightest. Skin tone, eye colour, and your usual makeup all help narrow it down. Very bright shades can look artificial under some lighting, so check them in a digital preview first.
Compare on your own photo
The difference becomes obvious when you apply each style to the same photo of yourself. Try all four in the VeneerFit simulator, then save the before/after cases closest to your taste — your consultation becomes far more precise.
If you can't decide
Most people hesitate between two directions. Ask yourself how you want your smile to read in everyday photos, and narrow it down from there. The final choice can be adjusted at the digital mock-up stage, so arriving with a direction is enough.
