Aftercare: what to watch out for

Ceramic shells are strong but not indestructible. Habits matter for longevity.

Daily care

Keep brushing and flossing as usual. Highly abrasive whitening pastes can dull the surface polish, so they are best avoided. The ceramic itself resists staining, but the margins where shell meets tooth can discolour — hygiene matters there.

Habits to avoid

Chewing ice, opening bottles, and nail biting put sudden force on front teeth and raise the risk of chipping. Tell your dentist if you grind your teeth — a night guard may be recommended.

Most foods are fine

Ceramic resists pigments like coffee, wine, and curry better than natural enamel. For the first few days after bonding, though, the usual advice is to avoid very hard or chewy foods while the cement fully sets.

Regular check-ups

After bonding, your clinic checks the bite and margins at recommended intervals. If you had treatment abroad, you can continue check-ups with a local dentist at home — keep your treatment records and warranty details together.

Don't ignore early signs

If an edge feels rough, a tooth becomes sensitive, or your bite suddenly feels different, get it checked rather than waiting. Most issues are simple to correct when caught early.

Warranty card

VeneerFit is only placed at Partner clinics, with design, lab, and material records plus a 1-year warranty card. Your clinic can confirm the exact coverage.
